Monster Education Foundation (MEF) is proud to announce the first recipient of the MEF Monster Impact Award: Tom Humbert. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have dedicated five or more years to creating meaningful opportunities for MEF scholars.
Humbert, a dedicated advocate for young people, embodies the power of individual action. As he reflects, "We often think that as an individual, our actions don’t amount to much. But actually, one person can have a great impact." Five years ago, Humbert's simple question, "How can I help?" sparked a movement that has transformed the lives of countless MEF scholars.
When Humbert asked that simple question, MEF partnered with KPMG to create an annual mock interview and resume workshop at the beautiful downtown office, giving students an amazing opportunity to visit.
This annual event has become a highlight for MEF scholars, providing them with invaluable insights and practical skills. “Our scholars look forward to this event as it gives them the opportunity to interact with professionals and gain real-life interview experiences,” said Mike Chang, Treasurer at MEF.
Humbert’s contributions extend beyond the annual workshop. He has consistently offered guidance and support to MEF scholars, serving as a role model. His dedication to fostering the next generation of leaders is truly inspiring.
